Meet your guide at the southeast corner of 40th Street and 5th Avenue, in front of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library, where your journey begins with an introduction to this vibrant area of Midtown Manhattan. Continue to the New York Public Library and Bryant Park, where you’ll discover one of the city’s most beloved green spaces alongside a renowned cultural landmark. From here, make your way towards Times Square through the lively Broadway Theater District, taking in the energy of New York’s world famous entertainment hub as your guide shares stories of its history and significance. Your journey then continues along Vanderbilt Avenue to Grand Central Terminal, where you’ll step inside to admire the iconic Great Hall and its celestial ceiling. The guided tour concludes at the SUMMIT One Vanderbilt lobby, where you will continue with the immersive observation experience, enjoying panoramic views over New York City from above.

What to Bring
This tour involves a fair amount of walking; comfortable shoes are recommended. Some sites visited lack shade and can be hot under direct sunlight. We recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen, and a bottle of water in warm weather. Guests are encouraged to wear pants, leggings, tights, or any other type of attire that protects them from unwanted exposure from the many reflective surfaces throughout the SUMMIT spaces.
Restrictions
We do not recommend bringing bags bigger than a bag pack. SUMMIT does not have a bag/coatcheck so please plan accordingly, as you will have to carry your belongings. Due to the sensitivity of our mirrored floors, soft-soled or wedge-heeled shoes are recommended. Stiletto heels are not permitted.
