Detailed Itinerary

The journey, in full

ʻĪao Valley - Stop ʻĪao Valley is a lush, historic valley located in the heart of Central Maui, surrounded by towering emerald-green peaks and tropical rainforest. Known for its natural beauty and cultural significance, it is home to the iconic ʻĪao Needle, a dramatic rock pinnacle rising high above the valley floor. Rich in Hawaiian history, ʻĪao Valley was the site of the Battle of Kepaniwai, an important conflict in Hawaiian history. Today, guests can enjoy peaceful walking paths, scenic viewpoints, flowing streams, and the tranquil beauty that makes this valley one of Maui’s most treasured landmarks. Maui Tropical Plantation - Stop Maui Tropical Plantation is a scenic working plantation in Central Maui that showcases the island’s rich agricultural heritage and tropical beauty. Surrounded by palm trees, lagoons, and views of the West Maui Mountains, the plantation offers guests a relaxing look into Maui’s farming traditions. Visitors can explore tropical crops such as coconut, pineapple, banana, taro, mango, and sugarcane while enjoying beautifully maintained grounds, local shops, and farm-to-table dining. It’s a peaceful and picturesque stop that highlights the connection between Maui’s land, culture, and agriculture. Paʻia Town - Stop Paʻia Town is a small, laid-back North Shore Maui town known for its surf culture, colorful shops, and local cafés. Often considered the gateway to the Road to Hana, it has a historic plantation-town charm with a relaxed, bohemian vibe. Guests will pass through Paʻia as a scenic drive-through stop, getting a quick glimpse of its vibrant streets, local surf shops, and island lifestyle along the way. Central Maui: Central Maui is the heart of the island, where local communities, historic towns, and wide-open valley views come together between the West Maui Mountains and Haleakalā. This region includes areas like Wailuku and Kahului and offers a glimpse into everyday island life, rich Hawaiian history, and Maui’s agricultural roots. Guests traveling through Central Maui experience scenic mountain backdrops, historic plantation-era communities, and panoramic views of Maui’s central valley. Upcountry Maui: Upcountry Maui is a cooler, scenic region on the slopes of Haleakalā known for its rolling hills, ranchlands, farms, and panoramic island views. The area has a peaceful countryside feel, blending Hawaiian paniolo (cowboy) culture with small local towns and agricultural landscapes. As guests travel through Upcountry, they’ll enjoy sweeping views of Maui’s coastline, eucalyptus forests, jacaranda trees in season, and a quieter side of the island far removed from the busy resorts.
