Lake Powell Kayak & Water Antelope Canyon Guided Tour

Your adventure begins with a meet-up at the picturesque Lake Powell (Navajo Rte. 22B just before Marina Pkwy), a massive reservoir nestled amidst the red rock canyons of the American Southwest. You'll be greeted by our experienced and knowledgeable guides who are passionate about sharing the magic of this unique landscape. There is a mandatory $30 entrance fee that is collected by the National Park Ranger at the toll booth leading into Lake Powell. After introductions, you will then be given a safety lesson on the properties of the kayak and how they function, how to properly and safely get in and out of your kayak, and how to properly operate your kayak using your paddles, as demonstrated by your tour guide, and overall safety protocols while paddling through Lake Powell. After demonstrating proper balance and maneuvering techniques to your guide, you will then be assigned a kayak and life jacket, and then helped onto the water by your tour guide. We’ll be sticking together as a group and will paddle through Lake Powell’s gorgeous scenery while stopping for multiple breaks within the 2.5 miles (5 miles round-trip) to the entrance of Water Antelope Canyon while getting a chance to take a refreshing dip once arrive (in season), and being able to get some good photos while your tour guide gives you information about the surrounding areas themselves. (Our stable and user-friendly kayaks are suitable for all skill levels, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.) The highlight of your adventure awaits as you navigate your kayaks into the narrow slot canyons leading to Water Antelope Canyon. This is where the magic truly begins. Carved by the forces of nature over centuries, the canyon reveals an otherworldly labyrinth of twisting passageways, sandstone waves, and ethereal light beams that filter down from above. Enjoy what Water Antelope Canyon is known for, and be mesmerized by the play of light and shadows, creating an almost surreal environment for exploration and photography. Upon reaching Water Antelope Canyon, you'll disembark and embark on a less than 1-mile (approximately 2 miles round-trip) guided hike through this surreal and sculpted landscape. Our knowledgeable guides will share the geological history and cultural significance of this sacred site. Prepare to be captivated by the beauty of the natural artistry, the intricate layers of sandstone, and the radiant colors that seem to change with every step. Return from your hike and enjoy the 2.5-mile paddle back to the original launch site alongside your tour guide
