Lake Apopka Fishing Trip - 6 Hrs
What your day looks like
Lake Apopka is located west of Orlando and mostly in Orange County, but the western part is in Lake County. Lake Apopka is the fourth largest lake in Florida and one of the largest in the United States, where largemouth bass reign supreme. It forms the headwaters of the Harris chain of lakes and the Ocklawaha River. It is over 30,000 acres in size, with a drainage basin of 119,773 acres. Approximately 30% of the lake is fed by the Gourd Neck Spring; the remainder is direct rainfall and stormwater runoff. Your tour is guided by a professionally licensed captain that operates in a 21-foot boat. All the equipment is included such as rods and reels (both left and right handed) and artificial lures that you can use and lose at your pleasure. We also are ready and equipped for any emergency at hand. The tour includes fishing instructions and casting lessons for beginners and advanced techniques for the experts. This fishing adventure lasts for 4-hours with options to start at 7 am or 1 pm but is flexible to your schedule; Never worry about rough seas or seasickness. While you are out on the water, all the boats have coolers on board with ice and bottled water to keep you hydrated while reeling in fish. There's plenty of space to bring snacks, lunch and your favorite beverage. Alcohol beverages in cans are preferred but all alcohol is permitted. This fishing trip is guaranteed by our industry award-winning, "NO FISH, NO PAY" tour policy. So grab your hat, sunglasses, and a camera. All you have to do is step aboard, cast a pole and wait for the tug on the other end. This fishing adventure will leave you with memories of a lifetime. This trip is a 6-hour tour, which can be scheduled in the AM or PM.
