Homecooked Vegan Meal In Cambridge, MA
What your day looks like
Host Bio: Marla worked as a marketing professor, investigative journalist, marketing consultant, and consumer advocate. Her husband Max, a Harvard Business School professor, is very passionate about wines and has an extensive cellar. Together they are excited to share their home, and culture, a delicious homecooked vegan meal over wine, interesting conversation, and laughter. Marla loves cooking and having people over, she says Max cannot eat all of her elaborate meals so she needs more passionate foodies at her table! Her favorite activities are thinking about plant-based food, writing about plant-based food, cooking plant-based food, eating plant-based food, and traveling to beautiful places to hike with Max. Meal Description: Join Marla and Max in their modern, artistic home to share a vegan meal. You will also meet Becca Sue (a rescue from Natchez, Mississippi), their beautiful dog who loves humans. Marla is a passionate home cook who specializes in vegan world cuisine. She loves cooking plant-based meals and is so happy to share them with like-minded travelers. In 2022, Marla and Max took a road trip across the US, so you can expect to try a few dishes inspired by their travels. Marla loves to cook with ingredients that are fresh and in season. So your menu will vary depending on the season, but a few dishes you can expect to try are pesto pizza (typical toppings include spinach, potatoes, and mushrooms), salad or homemade cornbread, mushroom stroganoff, and chili sin carne or glazed tofu. End your meal with some homemade ice cream, berries, and dark chocolate. If you're looking for a wholesome vegan meal in Boston, Marla's homemade vegan meal will not disappoint!
