The Experience

What your day looks like

Explore all of San Francisco’s most famous neighborhoods. Enjoy walking through Muir Woods National Monument, and experience one of the last remaining, most breathtaking coastal redwood forests in the world! After Muir Woods experience a relaxing lunch in the charming, waterfront town of Sausalito. This San Francisco tour is our most popular and top-rated because you get to see our beautiful City by the Bay in a way that only a born and raised local can show you. This is also the premier way to ensure you cover all your “must do’s” while you’re in town. If you’re only in town for a short time and want to see as much as possible, this is the most comfortable and comprehensive tour you’ll find! Neighborhoods Included: 10 neighborhoods, 5 amazing photo opportunities (photo stops noted by *) Fisherman’s Wharf (Start) One of San Francisco’s most popular destinations – from old shipyards to Boudin’s Bakery and the smell of fresh clam chowder, Fisherman’s Wharf has it all. North Beach Voted as one of the USA’s “ten great neighborhoods”, North Beach is best known as the home of Little Italy. From delicious restaurants to authentic sidewalk cafes and bakeries, you will feel the charm of San Francisco as soon as you arrive. Chinatown Boasting the largest Chinatown in the United States, this 24-block mecca is bustling with energy, amazing food, and unique and colorful shops that give this area its charm. Pacific Heights * Offering one of the most scenic outlooks in all of Northern California, Pacific Heights is home to Billionaire’s Row, featuring the estates of politicians, tech titans and other San Francisco celebrities (includes Mrs. Doubtfire house!) Presidio A former military base, now a beautiful park that includes Crissy Field, Fort Point, Lucasfilm’s (George Lucas) headquarters and the Walt Disney Museum. Fort Point * Located just beneath the Golden Gate Bridge, Fort Point gives you a front-row seat to the Bay and is a great photo stop. This former military fortification was used during WWII. Golden Gate Bridge* Declared “one of the 10 wonders of the modern world,” the Golden Gate Bridge is one of the most recognized symbols of San Francisco. Simply stunning! Marin Headlands * Offering a stunning perspective of the Golden Gate Bridge with downtown San Francisco in the background, this awe-inspiring view is the perfect place to capture a memorable photo. Muir Woods Muir Woods National Monument is home to some of the oldest and most beautiful trees in the world. Many of our guests consider this stop to be the highlight of their trip. Sausalito* Located just across the Golden Gate Bridge, this artistic enclave has the setting and beauty of a European Mediterranean town.

Our guide was great. He had it planned well. His interaction with the group was very informative, interactive, and funny. He had music set up to play at the appropriate time that related to the area we were visiting ( it was brilliant).

Excellent guide! Great small group tour! Several people from our ship booked a similar tour through the cruiseline. They paid much more and had 50 people in their group!

Could not have been any better. Great driver that kept it interesting all the way. Super friendly and offered excellent tips and took photos for us. Knowledgeable and easy to ask questions. Went above and beyond by offering us a ride back to fisherman’s wharf after the trip since he was going that way.

What an outstanding tour. Can't think of a tour that could give a more comprehensive show of what the San Francisco area has to offer...in one day ! Jules did a great , informative tour for us.

I highly recommend this tour. He was very knowledgeable of the area and enjoyed taking selfies for us. We stopped at the Golden gate bridge to take pictures. At Muir woods he showed us the trails we could walk on and how to take pictures of the red wood trees. In Salsalito, he pointed out several restaurants for lunch. We even had time to go to a couple of shops. Coming from the cruise ship we were able to store our luggage at the office. He even helped us get a taxi when we couldn't connect to an Uber. He checked later to make sure we weren't still waiting on the curb. We learned so much of San Francisco and highly recommend Dylan tours.
