What your day looks like
Half-day interpretive tour designed for wildlife viewing. Perfect for early risers! Explore Grand Teton National Park and surrounding National Forest lands at the break of dawn when wildlife is most active with your own personal guide. Our sunrise safaris offer a four-hour introduction to the amazing wildlife and natural history of Grand Teton National Park, which is part of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. Our highly qualified guides will take you to the best viewing spots for elk, moose, bighorn sheep, bison, mule deer, foxes, eagles, and a variety of other animals. You may even be able to see wolves hunting on the National Elk Refuge during the winter months. We understand animal behavior and teach you how to find and observe wildlife on your own, without disturbing the animals or endangering yourself. The early morning hours also offer the best time to photograph wildlife and the majestic Teton mountain range. Please note as of January 1, 2026, a mandatory $100 USD per non-US resident fee is required to enter the park. If needed, passengers can purchase these on the National Park Service's website prior to the date of the tour, or these can be purchased at the gate at the start of the tour.

Detailed Itinerary
The journey, in full
Your guide will pick you up from your hotel and head straight into Grand Teton National Park. The route for your tour depends on the time of year and the recent movements of wildlife. It is likely that you will explore riparian habitats in search of moose, sagebrush habitats in search of bison, elk, and pronghorn antelope, and forests/meadows in search of bears and other wildlife. Throughout the entire tour, you will have stunning views of the Tetons as the backdrop to your adventure.

Restrictions
Starting January 1, 2026, the National Park Service (NPS) is implementing a $100 per-person fee for non-U.S. residents entering 11 major national parks, in addition to standard entrance fees, as part of a new "resident-focused" fee structure designed to prioritize U.S. taxpayers and fund park maintenance. This fee will only impact our international customers. The only exception is for those non-U.S. residents that have purchased the America the Beautiful (ATB) International Pass for $250, which grants annual access to all federal lands.

We absolutely loved the Jackson Hole Wildlife Safari! Our guide, Mike, was awesome. The kids loved him and we learned so much from him. He provided water, coffee, hot cocoa and granola bars. The coffee was really good, not instant, like I imagined coming from the back of a van. Our water came in a water bottle that we each got to keep, and we ended up using them throughout our trip.
