What your day looks like

Take a wet hike led by an experienced naturalist guide. This is a bucket list experience! Join us on this mesmerizing, beautiful walk under a canopy of bald cypress trees. Witness hundreds of beautifully delicate epiphytes, like ferns, bromeliads, and orchids; only to be fully experienced on a wet walk. Big Cypress National Preserve, situated right in the middle of the Everglades, is a forested area home to the Florida panther, black bear, wild boar, the endangered Everglades mink, Florida bobcat, and much more! Enjoy a 1-hour airboat ride way out into the "River of Grass" and stop off at a tree island village to learn about the Miccosukee people's way of life in the Everglades. Take an 80-minute adventure boat ride in the 10,000 Islands and see the unique mangrove habitat as well as dolphins and manatees. A local lunch in Everglades City, a stop at a historic trading post, and a narrated scenic drive through Big Cypress is also included in this full-day adventure tour. Round-trip transportation from Fort Lauderdale and Miami is provided. Or meet us at a meet-up location, where there is free and safe parking at the start of the tour.
