What your day looks like
Come with us on a 1-hour air boat, where we typically see tons of wildlife! Visit a remote Native village. Become immersed in the authentic beauty of their remote way of life. Embark on a 1-hour boat trip in the 10,000 Islands region of Everglades National Park. This is your chance to see bottlenose dolphins, manatees, sawfish, and much more! Visit a historic trading post. Go on a dry nature walk led in Big Cypress National Preserve by your experienced naturalist guide, where we typically see baby alligators, large alligators, other wildlife and a wide variety of bird species! Enjoy a wonderful in Everglades City. Venture on a scenic wildlife spotting back roads drive with your master naturalist guide through Big Cypress. Get your cameras ready. We know where to find the wildlife! We provide transportation or meet us at a meet up location for the start of tour.

The journey, in full
We will pick you up in our new sprinter-style, high roofed 15 passenger van and drive our to the Everglades. En route, your guide will share with you the history of the region and the changes to the ecosystem that have taken place. Our first stop will be on the Miccosukee Indian reservation where we will embark on a 70-minute airboat ride which includes a visit to a native Indian village and remote tree island. You will have plenty of oppurtunities to photograph beautiful wading birds and alligators and turtles! After our arboat ride, we will drive to the Big Cypress Naitonal Preserve and stop at the visitor's center where you can get a park stamp. Here it is also possible to see a lot of wildlife. Next we will have lunch in a local and famous restaurant where you can select your choice off a menu. You will love this quirky place. After lunch we will take a guided tour through a historic fishing community and hear some wild lore of days gone by. Our next stop will be a historic trading post and here we will board our boat for an 80 minute exploration of the 10,000 Islands region of Everglades National Park. On this magical boat trip it is possible to see dolphins, manatees, sharks, sawtooth fishs, sea turtles, rays and a lot of wading birds. Upon returning from the boat trip we will drive to the trailhead for our hike to an old growth cypress dome. Here it is possible to see rare orchids, and bromeliads. Your guide will share information on the natiuve American uses of the plants in this ecosystem. After our walk we will visit a famous photographers gallery before we drive back to our meeting spots.
