Detailed Itinerary

The journey, in full

We begin our day with a scenic drive into Navajo territory. Stop for breakfast in St. George, Utah, home to the oldest continuously operating Mormon temple in the world. As we head deeper into Navajo territory, we approach the mighty Colorado River for a visit to Horseshoe Bend, where the river meanders around the rocks, creating a unique horseshoe-shaped loop beloved by visitors and photographers from around the world. Next, we travel to where “the water runs through the rocks,” according to local Navajo folklore. Here, we tour Antelope Canyon and witness the spectacular dunes sculpted by wind, water, and sand—formations that words alone cannot describe. A local Navajo guide will lead us through the canyon, highlighting the sunbeams that shine through the narrow slits in the canyon walls, creating one-of-a-kind photo opportunities. After a break for lunch, we head to the Glen Canyon viewpoint for one last look at this breathtaking area before returning to Las Vegas for an evening arrival.

Traveler Impressions

What travelers are saying

2024-03-02 3.00 / 5

The guides were great. The bus was quite uncomfortable. Given the distance, the stops were too often and too long, resulting in 9:40pm return.
