Arrival & Logistics: Begin your journey with a convenient shuttle pick-up or a personal drive-in to the riverside base. Preparation & Safety: Complete check-in and gear up with professional-grade safety equipment. A comprehensive safety briefing ensures all participants are prepared for the river conditions. Downstream Navigation: Launch into the Nenana River for a guided rafting experience. Navigate a mix of Class II and III rapids that provide spirited splashes between moments of scenic tranquility. Wildlife Observation: Keep a lookout for Alaska’s "Big Five" along the riverbanks; the route offers frequent opportunities to spot moose, Dall sheep, caribou, and occasionally bears. Professional Photography: Specialized cameras capture the action at the most exciting points of the rapids, allowing you to focus on the experience. Gear De-brief: Return to the base office for assistance in removing your rafting gear and warming up. Souvenirs & Departure: Visit the gift shop to browse optional souvenirs or purchase high-resolution photos of your trip before taking the return shuttle.

What to know before booking
Included
Knowledgeable guides, rafts, and essential gear are provided. Dry suits keep you dry, with latex or neoprene gaskets at the neck and wrists, and latex socks to keep your feet dry. You will stay warm with your own insulating layers underneath. Neoprene booties are provided for added warmth Coast Guard-approved Type V life jacket is included. If you opt for the paddling style raft, a paddle and helmet will also be provided. Latex-free suits are available upon request. Enjoy hassle-free shuttle service.

What to Bring
Cash for personal use Please make sure to bring warm layers for underneath the dry suit, as well as socks and beanies. The river temperature is around 35°F, so dressing warmly is essential for your comfort. Food and drinks are not provided, so please plan accordingly.
Restrictions
Children on the water: Generally, children over the age of 5 fit into a dry suit; however, please check specific measurements or contact us via email for more details. All children must weigh at least 50 lbs. Children must fit into a dry suit. If a child is too small to fit, they will be refunded along with one adult.
