The wild things live in southern Florida. This is not a mere airboat ride – it’s an indescribable journey into the depths of nature. Explore the lush landscapes of Everglades National Park, as well as Sawgrass Recreation Park, a sanctuary for endangered, exotic wildlife. (COVID-19 guidelines are available below.) This Everglades exploration begins with a 30-minute airboat ride across the primordial, glistening waters of the park. This guided tour will be led by an experienced, seasonal captain. Learn of the tales of the Seminole Tribe coexisting in the dense wilderness alongside the Florida panther. As you skid across the tranquil rivers, catch glimpses of endangered animal species – let yourself connect with the fragility and awesomeness of nature. Your reservation includes a visit to the Exotic Wildlife Exhibit in Sawgrass Recreational Park. This conservational organization brings a different variety of animals to the park every day. Their mission is to illuminate the public about endangered Florida species, like the Florida panther, leopards, wolves, and smaller mammals. The handlers are experts on these wildlife creatures and are more than happy to answer your questions.
