We'll begin at the Spirit of Detroit sculpture, welcoming visitors to the city that was once among the richest in America. First, we'll take you to a classic pub to sample a Detroit original and local favorite: corned beef egg rolls. Next, you'll learn about the city's famous hot dog wars and see if you can decide who is the true originator of the Coney Dog As you stroll through Downtown Detroit, you’ll learn about the neighborhood’s incredible journey from its golden age to its recent rebirth and renaissance. And of course, no visit to downtown would be complete without a stop at our secret spot—a sweet treat destination founded by a famous Detroit writer, serving up something delicious with a heartwarming story behind it. Then, it's time to cool down with the classic Boston Cooler. Don't let the name fool you, this iconic float is a Detroit Original! Of course, no visit to Detroit is complete without a slice of their famous Detroit-style pizza. You'll see why this slice is halfway between Chicago and New York in more ways than one!
