Chicago: Fulton Market Donut Tour
What your day looks like
Here at the Underground Donut Tour, we love all donuts—but Chicago is our hometown, and Chicago donuts hold a special place in our hearts. Come celebrate the vibrant food culture of Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood on our new West Loop Donuts & Pastry Tour. The tour begins at a classic Chicago shop, Do-Rite Donuts & Chicken, known citywide for its quality donuts. From there, we’ll walk along the Randolph corridor, learning about the history of the West Loop, a historic area that has gone through several revitalizations since its days as the industrial backbone of the City of Big Shoulders. We’ll then sample the wacky, matcha-infused creations of a hidden gem, the Matcha-Cita café, where you’ll definitely want to pause for a photo-op! Next, we’ll visit Voodoo Donuts, a newcomer to Chicago from Portland, known for its indulgent flavors and unexpected toppings. Finally, we’ll stroll through a magical, old brickwork alley adorned with beautiful floral street art, emerging at our last stop—Sawada Coffee, owned by world-renowned latte artist Hiroshi Sawada. Throughout the tour, we’ll share anecdotes and history about each location, the West Loop neighborhood, and Chicago’s rich cultural past. There will be plenty of time for bonding, team building, laughter, and fun with friends and family.
