We were kind of let down with our tour. We were under the expectation we would see a lot of wildlife and get to go shelling but we just drove past shell island without the opportunity to get any shells. We saw dolphins once off pretty far in the distance but not up close or anything. Didn’t see any manatees or sea turtles and these were the things were really hoping to see, along with dolphins. Our captain was kind and knowledgeable about the area and its history. He drove us around and explained the buildings and showed us many of the homes on goodland and Marco island, but we were really interested in seeing wildlife more than homes and buildings.
