Begin your private Las Vegas cooking class with a welcome drink or cocktail before joining Chef Luna in her home kitchen for a fun, hands-on culinary experience. Put on an apron, grab your own cutting board, and learn essential cooking techniques such as dicing, sautéing, and pressing fresh tortillas. Choose between two menu options. For the Mexican menu, learn to prepare authentic dishes including fresh tortillas, meat, seafood, or vegetarian quesadillas, and four different homemade salsas featuring a variety of flavors, textures, and spices while practicing knife skills and traditional cooking techniques. For the Italian menu, learn how to make fresh, handmade pasta from scratch and enjoy it with a classic pomodoro sauce, garlic bread, and tiramisu for dessert. Please indicate your preference when booking; otherwise, the menu will default to Mexican. After cooking, sit down and enjoy the meal you helped prepare, with options that may include meat or seafood. This interactive Las Vegas cooking experience lasts about 2.5 hours and is perfect for couples, families, bachelorette parties, and corporate team-building groups visiting the Las Vegas Strip. Chef Luna is happy to accommodate vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and lactose-free requests when noted at the time of booking. She also offers a 2:00 pm class and is flexible with start times when possible. Her apartment is ADA accessible. Please note that the host has a cat in the home, though the cat is shy and stays away from guests. Notes: Groups of 10 or more guests are subject to a 7-day cancellation policy. The standard cancellation policy does not apply. Chef Luna can accommodate large groups of 20+ in the community kitchen of her apartment building, making it a great option for corporate team-building events in Las Vegas.
