What your day looks like
This 1.5 hour ride starts at the corral and takes you down the slope of Eki Crater as you head towards the coastline of the Pacific Ocean. Your trail guide will take photos of you with the ocean in the background. A variety of ranch animals can be seen along the way. Also included are refreshments.

What to Bring
MUST wear closed-toed shoes. This is mandatory for safety.
Restrictions
While prior horseback riding experience is not required, a certain level of physical fitness is necessary to participate in our trail experiences. You should be able to independently mount a horse from a mounting block, which involves using your strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. This is not only important for your safety but also for the welfare of our horses. If you have any health concerns or physical limitations that may affect your ability to mount a horse, please inform us during the booking process.

We had such a great morning ride with the team at Mendes Ranch. All of the staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They were able to accommodate all levels of riders within the group and pair them with horses to match. Horses looked well cared for and loved ❤️Beautiful scenery throughout the whole ride too (we even saw some whales out on the water on the ride)! Special shout out to our guides Lauren, Chase and Creighton!! Loved hearing the history of the Ranch from Chase. Lauren who was extra nice to me and my daughter and chatted with me afterwards. Can't wait to come back to Maui and ride again!
