Your day, step by step
Phoenix
Transportation. Your hiking guide will meet you at Phoenix Airport, where you’ll jump in the van and hit the road to the Grand Canyon. After a quick pack shakedown, you’ll head down into the heart of the Grand Canyon. You’ll have a challenging, seven mile hike down to Hermit Creek Campground. We’ll set up camp and enjoy a delicious group meal. Be sure to gaze up at the stars before heading to bed! Meals: L, D

Hiking. Today will be an easier day! We’ll have the option to hike
Phoenix
Hiking. After breakfast, you’ll pack up and continue to your next campsite! Today’s hike will be about 9 miles; however, it’ll be an easier, flat trail along the way. We’ll take plenty of breaks to enjoy the beautiful, steep canyon walls. Meals: B, L, D
Phoenix
Nature Walks. It’s time to begin the long hike up and out of the canyon! We’ll take plenty of breaks along the way as we scale the Bright Angel Trail. This evening, enjoy a much-deserved shower and farewell dinner at your accommodations! Meals: B, L, D
Phoenix
Transportation. It’s time to say goodbye to your newfound friends! Your guide will transfer you to the Phoenix airport by 12PM. Meals: B

Restrictions
Advanced – Expect to spend 3-6 hours walking or hiking over the course of the day (with significant elevation change) while carrying full backpacks! Suitable for most fit people with hiking experience.

We do airport pick up on Day 1, so please book a flight that arrives by 9:30 AM at Phoenix Airport
