4 Hour Wilderness Wonders Tour
What your day looks like
This is the guides' pick for our best tour. Go off-trail and into the Denali forest, led by an expert navigator. Get the true Denali experience for you and your family - say goodbye to conveyor-belt style tours. Engage all of your senses with hands-on experiences. Sink into the lush moss underfoot (it feels like walking on a memory foam mattress!) and savor the bounty of edible plants and berries found throughout the Denali region. Watch as your guide peels back the inner-workings of Denali. You’ll leave knowing the plants, animals, ecology, and geology that make Denali, well, Denali. You’ll see Alaska in a completely different light! Dive into the rich tapestry of cultural history, from the wisdom of the indigenous Athabaskan people to the more recent tales of survivalists who tested their mettle and adaptability in this challenging environment.

Enjoy a beautiful walk through the boreal forest, learning everything there is to know about the plants, animals, and more of Denali. Your guide drops you back at your hotel, or anywhere else you'd like to be dropped off. You impress your friends with your new knowledge of Alaska. Restrictions
Small children must be accompanied by and supervised by an adult at all times. Our guides love kids, but they can't chase down runaway children and guide a tour at the same time. Believe me, they've tried. This is a four-hour off-trail hike. You'll be doing some minor bushwhacking. If you have mobility or health issues, I would recommend giving our team a call to discuss if you'll be up for this hike. It's not super strenuous, but four hours is a long time to be on your feet. Especially with uneven terrain!
Meeting & Pickup
You'll get a text from your guide the day before your tour instructing you on exactly what time they'll be picking you up. It won't be more than 30 minutes before the tour departure time within the area of Healy
