Our 2-day adventure includes both the Lower and Upper Loops. Leaving the park after the first day and spending the night in the nearby towns of West Yellowstone or Cody, Wyoming, allows you to explore more of the park on the second day without extended driving. You will experience all the highlights of the Lower and Upper Loops with ample time to relax and focus on what interests you most. Whether you want extra time to capture the perfect wildlife photo or head out on an extended hike off the beaten path, this tour gives you the flexibility to do so without worrying about running out of time. Our 2-day tour is a private experience, custom tailored to you and your interests, and allows you to explore less-visited areas of the park. Spending the night in West Yellowstone or Cody is a true western experience. Both are small, charming towns that capture the pioneer spirit left behind by Native Americans, early mountain men, and settlers.

Your day, step by step
Day 1
Jackson
Sightseeing at Yellowstone National Park. Pick up in Jackson Hole designated meeting place. Drive through Grand Teton National Park –we stop at Oxbow Bend for a quick coffee and spectacular views of the Teton peaks and Mt Moran. If it is sunny, you will see the morning sun cascading across the simmering granite peaks. Entrance to Yellowstone National Park West Thumb Geyser Basin – located on the banks of Yellowstone Lake, this basin has geysers and hot springs such as the Abyss, Black Pool, and Fishing Cone Hot Springs. Mud Volcano – The Mud Volcano thermal area has muddy hot springs and fumaroles located near one of the Yellowstone Volcano vents. Here is the Sulfur Cauldron, one of the most acidic features in the park with a pH of battery acid, and the Dragon Mouth Spring. The Mud Volcano stop is quite unique. Hayden Valley –here we often see large herds of bison, grizzly bears, black bears, wolves, and elk. This is one of the few places in the world where wolves, grizzlies, and bison coexist in an area easily accessed by paved roads. Upper/Lower Yellowstone Falls –We stop at Artist Point and Uncle Tom’s trail, which are the best places to view the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River, home to the Upper and Lower Falls. At 308 feet, the Lower Falls is the tallest waterfall in Yellowstone. It’s more than double the height of Niagara Falls. Canyon Village –this is a good midway point to stop. We have lunch here. Visitor area shops, restrooms, and facilities are at this stop. Artist Paint Pots –this is a group of 50 springs, geysers, vents, and mud pots exhibiting varying shades of blue, gray, and brown, which have a variety of textures. Norris Geyser Basin – Norris Geyser Basin is the hottest, oldest, and most dynamic of Yellowstone’s thermal areas. The highest temperature yet recorded in any geothermal area in Yellowstone was measured in a scientific drill hole at Norris: 459°F, and it is home to Steamboat Geyser, the world’s tallest, currently active geyser. Grand Prismatic– Grand Prismatic Spring is Yellowstone’s most colorful and largest hot spring at 200-330 feet in diameter and more than 121 feet deep. Old Faithful Lodge and Visitor Center –the average interval between eruptions of Old Faithful Geyser is around every 90 minutes, which makes it the most predictable geyser in the park. Seeing Old Faithful is one of the must-do activities in Yellowstone. The historic lodge and visitor center make it easy to spend time exploring the Midway Geyser Basin while you wait for Old Faithful’s next exhilarating eruption. Exit Yellowstone National Park at the west entrance.

Day 2

Sightseeing at Yellowstone National Park. For the morning of Day 2, we return to the park and continue to the Upper Loop, where we visit key points along the way. Historic Fort Yellowstone –we explore a part of the park that showcases buildings constructed during the Army era, which are still standing and used by the National Park Service as park headquarters and employee housing. Mammoth Hot Springs- Mammoth Hot Springs is a large complex of hot springs on a hill of colorful, layered travertine. Terrace Mountain at Mammoth Hot Springs is the largest known carbonate-depositing spring in the world. Albright Visitor Center-This historic structure was built by the United States Army in 1909 as bachelor officers’ quarters for the cavalry troops who protected the park before the creation of the National Park Service. Liberty Cap- Liberty Cap is 37 feet tall. It was created by a hot spring with internal pressure sufficient to raise the water to such a great height, allowing mineral deposits to build slowly and continuously for perhaps hundreds of years. Roosevelt Arch- designed by famous Yellowstone architect Robert Reamer, the arch stands 50 feet high and marks the north entrance of the park. The arch was dedicated in 1903 by Teddy Roosevelt. Lamar Valley – Yellowstone’s huge, wide valleys make excellent habitat for wildlife. Here is your best chance of spotting bears, wolves, bison, and pronghorn. It’s an effort to get to this area of Yellowstone, but it is well worth it. Tower Falls – Among the highest waterfalls in Yellowstone, Tower Falls plunges a stunning 132 feet. The unusual rock columns north of the falls were created by lava flow that cracked as it cooled. Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone - The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River expresses the park’s complex geologic history in dramatic yellow colors and tones. The Upper and Lower Falls of the Yellowstone River add to the grandeur of the unique natural treasure. Exit Yellowstone National Park – The return ride to Jackson with sunset in Teton National Park is the relaxing way to wind down 2 days of exploration in one of America’s favorite National parks. We stop along the way to take in the alpenglow behind the Teton peaks.

What to Bring
Travels should be ready for changing weather conditions and dress accordingly. Space is limited for luggage please be mindful of the amount of the size of luggage. luggage is transported with the guest and available to them throughout their tour.
Restrictions
Starting January 1, 2026, the National Park Service (NPS) is implementing a $100 per-person fee for non-U.S. residents entering 11 major national parks, in addition to standard entrance fees, as part of a new "resident-focused" fee structure designed to prioritize U.S. taxpayers and fund park maintenance. This fee will only impact our international customers. The only exception is for those non-U.S. residents that have purchased the America the Beautiful (ATB) International Pass for $250, which grants annual access to all federal lands. This fee is paid directly by guests on the day of the tour at the park entrance gate or via the official Recreation.gov online system in advance (recommended to avoid potential lines)
