What your day looks like

On Day 1, begin your journey with a trip to the infamous Alcatraz Island, home to one of the world’s most notorious federal prisons. Board the ferry at Fisherman’s Wharf and enjoy a self-guided audio tour, available in multiple languages. Explore the eerie, abandoned prison cells, learn about daring escape attempts, and discover Alcatraz’s fascinating history as a military fort, penitentiary, and Native American occupation site. Take your time exploring the island and enjoy stunning panoramic views of the San Francisco skyline and Golden Gate Bridge. On day 2, Your Golden Gate Bridge bike tour starts at Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco, where you’ll meet your guide. Begin your Golden Gate Bridge bike tour at Fisherman’s Wharf and follow your guide along San Francisco’s scenic waterfront. Ride past landmarks like Aquatic Park, Fort Mason, Marina Green, the Palace of Fine Arts, and Crissy Field. Stop at Fort Point for stunning views before cycling across the 1.7-mile Golden Gate Bridge to Vista Point. End the guided portion in Sausalito, a charming waterfront town. Sightseeing at Fisherman's Wharf, San Francisco. Your bike tour begins in Fisherman’s Wharf, one of the last true wharfs of its kind left in America before taking off towards the Golden Gate Bridge. We’ll follow a fun and easy course along the coast, where you’ll spot sea lions, wind organs, and the old military fort in one of San Francisco’s most coveted neighborhoods.

What to Bring

- Due to National Park restrictions, Alcatraz reservations cannot be moved or rescheduled after booking - Please contact the activity provider if you would like to reschedule your bike rental day - The date you choose for booking is when you will visit Alcatraz. Your bike rental will take place the next day unless requested for another day. For example, if your desired Alcatraz date is July 1, your bike rental will be on July 2 - The Cellhouse audio tour is available in Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish - Credit card deposit may be required at the start of the bike rental
