What your day looks like
Queen Elizabeth National Park is a birding destination with remarkable diversity with 606 species, the park has the highest concentration of birds in Africa with its key birding spots in Kasenyi Area, Mweya Peninsula, Kazinga Channel, Maramagambo Forest, Ishasha Sector, Lake Kikorongo, Katunguru Bridge area Ishasha Sector, and Katwe Area Tours. Its population also includes 11 recorded species of global concern. This tour is available throughout the year and it is done with help of our expert bird watching safari guides. This safari also includes a wildlife tour in Queen Elizabeth national where a lot will be enjoyed like the tree climbing lions adventure in the Ishasha sector, game viewing along Kazinga channel boat cruise, and Kasenyi sector. Day 1
Entebbe
Welcome to Uganda! Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you are received by your bird watching safari guide and transfer to the Hotel, and have a briefing about 6 days bird watching safari to Queen Elizabeth national park.

Eco Tour. Depending on your arrival time, we bird Uganda Wildlife Education Centre or Entebbe botanical gardens.

Day 2
Entebbe
After early morning breakfast, we transfer to the home of 606 bird species. We shall have a stopover at the equator line and Mbarara town for lunch. Dinner will also be available later on in the day.

Sightseeing at Queen Elizabeth National Park. Almost there Along the way, we shall have several stops possibly to encounter a number of bird species hence arriving late in Queen Elizabeth national park.

Birdwatching. Mweya Peninsular On this day, we head out to bird the Mweya Peninsular.

Boating at Kazinga Channel. In the afternoon, we embark on the boat cruise to the bird Kazinga channel. You will have exposure to the Malachite and Pied Kingfishers, African Skimmer, Swamp Flycatcher, Grey-capped Warbler, White-winged Terns, Collard Pratincole, African Jacana, Grey-headed Kingfisher, Martial Eagle, Gabon, and Slender-tailed Nightjars, Pin-tailed Whydah, Great and Long-tailed Cormorants, Common Squacco Heron, the lovely Black-headed Gonolek, African Fish Eagle, Sedge Warbler, White-winged Warbler, Verreaux’s Eagle-Owl, Papyrus Gonolek, Papyrus Canary, African Mourning Dove, African Open-billed Stork, Great White, and Pink-backed Pelicans, Black-rumped Buttonquail, Egyptian Goose, a number of Gull species, Yellow-billed and Marabou Stork, and several others. This comes alongside the encounter of mammal species like the Topis, Buffalos, elephants, lions, and many other species.

Day 4

Eco Tour. Kasenyi & Crater Visit On this day, we head out to bird the Kasenyi trail and the afternoon craters bird watching for hundreds of Savannah bird species, we lookout for the Common Rock Thrush, Whinchat, Common Redstart, White-fronted Black Chat, Pied Wheatear, Sooty Chat, Common Bulbul, Cameroon Sombre Greenbul, Yellow-throated Greenbul, Isabelline Wheatear, the Black, White-breasted, and Red-shouldered Cuckoo Shrikes, the Arrow-marked, Black-lored and Brown Babblers, the Black and Penduline Tits, Nubian Woodpecker, Brown-backed Woodpecker, Lesser Honeyguide, Cardinal Woodpecker, Scaly-throated Honeyguide, Green Wood Hoopoe, a number of Buzzards, Black Scimitarbill, Barbets, Rollers, Harriers, Vultures, Eagles, Bee-eaters, Warblers, and so forth.

Day 5

Birdwatching at Queen Elizabeth National Park. Bird Watching Ishasha Sector And Kyambura Gorge Today we set off to bird these beautiful sections for hundreds of bird species, we shall observe several birds among which will include; Black-headed Gonolek, Slender-billed Weaver, Ruppell’s Long-tailed Starling, Little Weaver, Black-headed Weaver, Red-headed Lovebird, Spur-winged Lapwing, Grey-headed Sparrow, the African Red-eyed and African Morning Doves, the Winding, Cracking and Zitting Cisticolas, African Thrush, just to mention but a few.
