What your day looks like

This is a top-notch safari to the famous Queen Elizabeth and Bwindi Impenetrable National Parks. Queen Elizabeth Park clearly provides scenic views of the Albertine Rift Valley floor that is occupied by Lake Edward and Lake George which are intersected by the magnificent Kazinga channel. On the same itinerary enjoy mountain gorillas from a close range and observe the adults feeding and groaning as the youngsters playfully move backward and forward in awesome comical moves.

Your day, step by step

Day 1

Entebbe

Welcome to Uganda! You will be picked up by your safari guide at around 7:00 am from Kampala or Entebbe and start your journey towards the famous Queen Elizabeth National Park. The park occupies an area of about 1978 sq km and its location ensures a magnificent view of the Rift Valley floor that covers Lake Edward and Lake George. The park is appreciated for the highest biodiversity ratings which makes it incomparable to other national parks in the world. It is well known to be home to about 95 mammal species and 612 species of birds. You will briefly have a stopover in Mbarara Town. Afterward, continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park where you can do an optional evening or night game drive.

Day 2

Entebbe

Hiking at Queen Elizabeth National Park. Hanging with the Cousins Your guide will take you to track man’s closest cousins, the chimpanzees. This is an obviously amazing experience to mark done on your bucket list. After chimpanzee tracking later in the day transfer to your lodge for relaxation as you enjoy the scenic landscape views.

Boating at Kazinga Channel. Cruising for wildlife Embark on an amazing launch cruise on Kazinga Channel where you will have an exciting and memorable adventure. This water sail provides a magnificent platform for photographing and 360 degrees of game viewing. After the boat cruise, you will drive back to the hotel.

Day 3

Entebbe

Wildlife Safari at Queen Elizabeth National Park. Game viewing at Queen Elizabeth Your driver will take you for the morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National park. This is an amazing experience with a great opportunity of spotting a wide range of wildlife such as cape buffalo, Uganda kobs, African elephants, hippos, lions, leopards, waterbucks, warthogs, and antelopes. After the successful game-viewing adventure, you will transfer to the lodge.

The Scenic Route Kick start your journey to the famous Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The park is famous for its endangered mountain gorillas. The drive to the park is incredibly scenic, going through the remote and the hilly plains covered by lush green. Upon arrival at Bwindi, it is visible that the park has the most appreciative ecosystems in Africa and the diversity of the wildlife species is also portrayed on sight. The park is home to about 120 species of mammals and 348 species of birds. Later on, you will check-in at the lodge.

Day 4

Entebbe

Hiking at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. In Search of the Gorillas You will report to the park offices for clarifications by 7:00 am. Here you will have a briefing conducted by Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger guides. You will then face the rainforest to trek into the bumpy bushes in search of the endangered mountain gorillas. There is a possibility of seeing other species like birds, monkeys, chimpanzees, among others. The trek is likely to take about 2-6 hours. It is really an exciting experience watching the gorillas in the jungle. You’ll enjoy every moment of being with these fabulous primates. You will be given 1 hour of time with them in the jungle observing them, learning their behaviors, and photographing. After Gorilla trekking transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. Lake Bunyonyi is known for its green and lush terraced hills and the 29 islands that you could admire all day, check-in in at the lodge.

Day 5

Entebbe

Breakfast time Today is the last day of your 5 days safari! After your relaxed breakfast, embark on your journey back to Kampala.

Sightseeing. Embark on your journey back to Kampala as you go through beautiful sceneries along the way. You will have a break stop en-route at Mbarara Town and thereafter continue for another stopover at the equator for the experimental moments.
