What your day looks like
The mountain was named after the European pioneer John Speke, who never climbed the mountain. It is close to Mount Stanley which is found in its southeast. The climb to Speke begins from the Bujuku hovel and it is such a challenge since there are numerous rocks. When it downpours, it gets indeed more challenging. It is made up of different crests a few of which incorporate; Vittorio Emanuele 4,890 meters (16,040 ft.), Ensonga 4,865 meters (15,961 ft.), Johnston 4,834 meters (15,860 ft.), and Trident 4,572 meters (15,000 ft.). The names of the crests were chosen by the British protectorate of Uganda who ruled at that time in honor of the Italian regal family. Mount Speke is one of the 5 crests that were summited by the duke of Abruzzi. Mount Speke is found within the region of Rwenzori extend that receives a part of rain which is why it is crossed by numerous waterways. The vegetation around is very thick which makes it a great put for a few animals (not so effortlessly seen) to remain just like the timberland elephant, chimpanzee, and antelopes notable of all the red duiker.

Day 1

Eco Tour. Welcome to Uganda. The central circuit begins at the Rwenzori Mountaineering Administrations’ workplaces at Nyakalengija. You would like to reach within the morning to permit adequate time to lease gear and meet your guides and watchmen. The path starts by passing through farmland to the stop boundary past which it takes after a thick woodland along the Mubuku Stream, crossing its Mahoma Stream tributary sometime recently beginning a long, soak climb up onto a gigantic edge to reach Nyabitaba cabin. Amid this portion of the trip, you will listen to chimpanzees and see dark and white colobus, blue monkeys, and the brilliantly colored Rwenzori touraco. The climb takes about 6 -7 hours

Day 2

Hiking at Rwenzori Mountains. Nyabitaba – John Mate Camp From Nyabitaba takes after the path that drops down through the timberland to the Kurt Shafer Bridge, fair underneath the conversion of the Mubuku and Bujuku waterways. Passing through the bamboo woodland, navigate through a long and debilitating extend of dangerous moss-covered shake. From the Nyamuleju shake protect, Mount Stanley and Mount Speke can be seen some time recently passing into the zone of the monster heather, lobelia, and groundsel. At last reach John Matte Cabin after passing through the tiring lowland, for supper and overnight at the hut. The climb takes about 7 – 8 hours.

Day 3

Eco Tour at Rwenzori Mountains. John Matte – Bujuku Camp From John Matte Cabin the path drops down to cross the Bujuku Stream and enters Lower Bigo Lowland, the domestic of monster lobelias. Bouncing from tussock to tussock, the lowland is at last crossed but once in a while without the feet examining a few of the solidifying overflow underneath. The upper Bigo lowland gives way to Bujuku Lake, with sees of Mt Bread cook to the South and Mt Stanley to the West. Bujuku Hovel, well found within the shadow of Mount Pastry specialist and Mount Speke, is set in a contract valley underneath Stuhlmann Pass. This camp is sweet for acclimatization for clients endeavoring the summits of crests Mount Stanley and Mount Speke. Supper and overnight at Bujuku cabin. The climb takes about 4 – 5 hours.

Day 4

Hiking at Rwenzori Mountains. Bujuku – Mt Speke to Bujuku – John Matte Early within the morning begin the climb through Stillman’s pass (4192m asl.) and fabulous sees of Virunga National stop of DR Congo to Victorio Emanuele peak. The climb to the crest takes 7 – 9 hours.

Day 5

Thank you for visiting. Continue plummeting Nyabitaba Camp and total your journey by the evening at Nyakalengija, the base camp. Upon reaching base camp, Tour services end there. We are happy you came and hope to see you again soon!

Hiking at Rwenzori Mountains. John Matte – Nyabitaba – Nyakalengija Prepare to slip back to Bujuku camp from Victorio Emanuele with sees of Bujuku valley and Bujuku lake, Margherita and Albert crests on Mount Stanley, and Mount Pastry specialist back to Bujuku and proceed for an overnight at John Maate Camp. Below Fellow Yeoman, the course plummets the cliffs of Kichuchu. Past Kichuchu the sloppy way crosses the Mubuku Waterway twice through bamboo timberland sometimes recently climbing downwards to Nyabitaba to total the circuit. Continue plummeting Nyabitaba Camp and total your journey by the evening at Nyakalengija, the base camp.
