What your day looks like
On this Gorilla Habituation Safari to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, you will encounter the endangered mountain gorillas in the dense rainforest of Bwindi. Habituating is the process of making Gorillas used to human presence. The Mountain gorillas have to undergo the process of habituation before gorilla trekking can be done, in this process, they get used to the presence of humans so that they do not charge or run away.

Your Itinerary
Your day, step by step
Day 1
Entebbe
Welcome to Uganda! You will be picked up by your guide, after, You will begin on your gorilla habituation safari southwards to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park. The road trip will present to you highway views of the remote and small urban centers of Uganda with vegetable markets along the roads, craft and drum makers, and have a stopover at Uganda’s Equator monument where you will cross to the southern hemisphere with one foot and northern hemisphere with other. After the equator experience, the safari guide will proceed with a second stopover in Mbarara for rest & to grab a bite if you'd like. Continue to Bwindi along the way we shall be having short bathroom stopovers and picture moments of landscape and other scenic views. Arrive in Bwindi in the late afternoon and check-in at the lodge.

Eco Tour at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Gorilla Habituation Gorilla habituation experience takes place in the Rushaga sector in the southern part of Bwindi impenetrable national park. Immediately after your early morning break, your safari guide will lead you to the briefing point where you will be taken through the etiquette of the Gorilla Habituation activity. The habituation adventure gives you enough time to learning about the lifestyle of the Mountain gorillas in the rainforest for this you’re allowed to spend 4 hours with the mountain gorillas. This activity is meant to get gorillas used to human’s presence in their habitat to prepare them for gorilla trekking in the future. After this adventure, your safari guide will transfer you back to the lodge

Thank you for visiting! After this exciting adventure with the mountain gorillas in the wild, wake up early in the morning and get ready to start your transfer back to Kampala or Entebbe.
