3 Days Chimpanzees Safari in Kibale is among short tours to western Uganda but with a lot see. This chimpanzee tracking activity will get you in contact with the apes that share 99% DNA with the human race. Your day, step by step
Day 1
Entebbe
Welcome to Uganda! Depending on your location in Kampala or Entebbe, you kick start your 3 Days Chimpanzees safaris by meeting your safari guide for the transfer to Kibale forest National Park. This is approximately 5 hours’ drive with a stopover at fort portal town for en route Break for food or to stretch.

Eco Tour. Immediately after your lunch break you will head for the crater visit, then after proceed Kibale forest national park for check in at your overnight.

Accommodation: Isunga Lodge or Equivalent.
Day 2
Fort Portal
Eco Tour at Kibale National Park. Continue with your 3 Days Chimpanzees transfer to the park office for a briefing about the dos and don’ts regarding trekking these endangered species and from there enter the forest with the help of a park rangers as your guides of the day along with your tracking gears, packed picnic lunch and water. The activity takes approximately 2-5 hours in search of the chimpanzees. Upon finding the primates, you will spend 1 full hour viewing them while observing and learning their behavior and taking pictures as well. After tracking, embark to the lodge for rest and refreshment.

Eco Tour. Bigodi Swamp In the afternoon, head for a nature walk in Bigodi swamp, where you will get to enjoy walking through a wetland with a wide range of bird species and antelopes like sitatunga. Later in the evening retire to the lodge for relaxation.

Day 3
Entebbe
Eco Tour. Caves, Falls and Crater lakes! Embark on the drive to Amabere Ga Nya mwiru caves where you will tour the caves that have amazing history, the waterfalls and the Crater Lakes tour.
