Set off on a culinary adventure through one of the world's most fascinating cities with Secret Food Tours: Istanbul - Kadikoy. This guided tour takes you to some of the best places to eat in the city, where you'll enjoy classic Turkish dishes like doner, lahmacun, and mehemen. We'll begin with lahmacun, a light and crisp bite. Next we'll sip a local coffee. You'll sample a variety of sheep's cheese with fresh tomato, cucumber, and olives. We'll stop for a wine break in a lovely and historic setting. You'll have handmade manti and pide while learning how they are made. This was a great overview tour on the Asian side of Istanbul. The guide was well informed and friendly. The stops were truly local non touristy stops and we loved every stop. The only thing I wish I had known was taking the ferry from the old town area was much easier and less expensive then the taxi we took over that actually dropped us off 15 min walk away from the actual meeting point and cost 40 euros. Do yourself a favor and grab the ferry to Kadikoy from either the Eminonou or Galataport side.
