What your day looks like
This morning you will be having your first stop at the remains of Temple of Artemis that was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Boarding your minivan, you will have a short drive and reach the city of Ephesus where history and archaeology will offer you their majesty with incredible richness. You will be walking on the Marble Road that runs through the city, having various structures resting on it: Temple of Hadrian is a unique beauty with its articulate facade while the Library of Celsus has all the expression of the grandeur of “good old days” of the Roman Period. Afterward, you will explore the House of Virgin Mary, where the Virgin Mary is believed to have spent the last days of her life. In the present day, there is a charming chapel, consecrated by Pope, at the very spot where there was the House of the Virgin Mary. Concluding your tour, you will be returning back to Kusadasi where you may have opportunities for hunting for bargains in fine jewelry, and silverware.

Our tour with Suzie was phenomenal. She was engaging, extremely friendly, and provided so much information on Ephesus, the House of the Virgin Mary and Turkey in general. Her years of experience really showed with all she related to us for what we were viewing. She was flexible with what we wanted to do and took us to a great local restaurant for the most delicious lunch. We will be back and will be looking for Suzie for another tour on our next trip!
