The Experience

What your day looks like

In between the skyscrapers, towers, traffic, and buzz of humanity, Bangkok hides a secret: a network of waterways that you can travel on without the stress of fighting traffic. Join this Bangkok tour to ride a longtail boat along the canals to see another side of Thailand's relentless capital. Note that the Grand Palace and the Emerald Buddha Temple will be closed from October 1 to October 30, to prepare for the royal funeral of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej. During this time, we will replace these stops with a visit to Wat Arun and lunch (included in tour price). Forget your guidebook — the real stuff comes from the mouths of the locals! Explore some famous landmarks as well as hidden gems on this Bangkok day tour that takes you through the city by boat and on foot.

Tour guide was great. Not only very knowledgeable, but she also knew the best spots for photos, a local place for lunch, and suggestions for the rest of the day. She helped me understand how to use public transportation such as buses and boats, which is key to getting around Bangkok.

We had a great day with Pam! She was very knowledgable and kept prompting us for pictures! At the end of the tour the whole group was starting to get too tired from the walking and the hot sun, so she was happy to skip a small part and finish the tour a bit earlier. The boat ride was a great addition too. Would recommend this tour 10/10!

Thanks for a special day! We loved having a private guide to lead us through the Palace complex, and Wat Pho temple so we could control the pacing. The canal cruise is a fascinating break between the two. A very memorable day for a very good price.
