The Experience

What your day looks like

"Start a Journey of Wonder: Explore Jiufen, Illuminate Skies in Shifen, and Unveil Taiwan's Natural Splendor. Let's go!!!" We provide pickup and drop-off at your hotel or any desired location within Taipei City. Explore Jiufen’s Golden Waterfall and Yin Yang Sea. Near Jiufen, you can witness the stunning Golden Waterfall, where the water appears to be gold-colored due to the presence of heavy metal elements. Next to it is the Yin Yang Sea, named for its contrasting blue and yellow waters. Shifen Old Street is a historic street that was once a bustling coal mining town during the Japanese colonial period. One of the main attractions of Shifen Old Street is the releasing of sky lanterns. You can purchase lanterns from the local shops, write your wishes or messages on them, and then release them into the sky. It’s a symbolic and popular activity that attracts many tourists who want to make a wish or create a memorable experience. Visit the famous Jiufen Old Street. Explore the narrow cobblestone alleys, lined with small shops selling local snacks, handicrafts, and souvenirs. Be sure to try the famous taro balls, tea-based drinks, and other street food. Apart from food, Jiufen Old Street is also known for its panoramic views.

Paul was an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable of the Jiufen and Shifen area and Taiwan's rich history. He contacted me the day before our tour to confirm and was waiting for us promptly in the hotel lobby. His English is very good. Both Shifen and Jiufen were super crowded when we arrived, and Paul did a great job navigating us through the crowds and taking us off the beaten path to enjoy some less visited places. The Gold Museum was a fascinating detour that was almost serene with beautiful views of the mountains and the sea.
