Do you want to see more of the city than what can be covered on foot alone? Get off the beaten track and join us for a city bike tour to discover the urban treasures of Stockholm. Put your feet on the pedals for an adventure around the areas of Stockholm surrounding Lake Mälaren, one of the two bodies of water in the city center. We promise you beautiful architecture, an old prison, monks, beaches, and a glimpse of the island where Absolut Vodka was founded. Looking for more? How about stories about ABBA, one of Sweden’s greatest exports. What about finding cool restaurants and bars to return to on Södermalm, the Southern Island, as you bike through lively streets? Interested in seeing the house where Alfred Nobel used to live? It is all waiting to be discovered with your guide. Embark on this bike tour along some of the 760 km of bike lanes found on the islands of Kungsholmen, Reimersholme, Långholmen, Södermalm, the Old Town (Gamla Stan), and Riddarholmen. There are a few hills that you will encounter along the way, and you are more than welcome to hop off your bike if needed. Toward the end of the tour, we will stop for a well-deserved traditional fika break at a local café, not included, where your guide will explain why Swedes and fika go perfectly together.
