Private Basseterre Half Day Sightseeing Tour
What your day looks like
The French came to the island in 1625 and settled in Basseterre. The tour takes you around Basseterre, where you can see some of the well-preserved historical buildings. Like the National Museum, built in 1894. Some of the many churches include the Roman Catholic Church and St. George's Anglican Church. After meeting you at the Gold Mind store at Port Zante, we then proceed to the air-conditioned van. We travel around historical Basseterre and then along the northwest coastline of the island. Our first main stop is Romney Manor, which has the best botanical gardens on the island, and we get to look at how batik is done by waxing and dyeing. End location: The tour ends when you get back to the cruise terminal. Other drop-off points in Basseterre can be agreed upon.
