What your day looks like
Get ready to experience the hike of a lifetime. The highest mountain on the small island of St. Kitts is Mount Liamuiga, at 3,792 feet above sea level. This is the site of a volcano that still shows definite signs of life with its active fumaroles in its half-mile wide crater. Take a hike to this mountain with Island Paradise Tours. Our experienced guide will take you to the lip of this crater where you will enjoy some really breathtaking and spectacular views down into the crater. If you are up for it, you can even go down into the crater and look at the boiling fumaroles within. On the way, your guide will point out the flora and fauna of the rainforest, the geography of the mountain and the island, and even some pertinent bits of the history and culture of the island, giving you a fully educational tour.
