Detailed Itinerary

The journey, in full

Our tour takes us through historical Basseterre. The capital city was founded in 1625 by French settlers. The center of what is known as the Circus, a replica of London's Piccadilly Circus. We will view Independence Square where slaves were sold, the Co-Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, and St. George Anglican Church. Our first major stop, Romney Manor, owned by Capt. Samuel Jefferson, the great great great grandfather of Thomas Jefferson the third president of the United States. Romney Manor is 25 acres of lush, tropical gardens, now home to Caribelle Batik. Our second stop is Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, 800 ft. above sea level, with stunning views of mountains, valleys, and neighboring islands. Our tour now turns eastward toward our third destination; Timothy Hill, the gateway to the Southeast Peninsula. It provides a panoramic view of our sister isle Nevis & a majestic background to the Frigate Bay valley. Prepare yourself to be mesmerized.
