What travelers are saying
Very nice tour and very nice and informative guide.
Zedan, David's son, was a fantastic and informative host with a wealth of information about the island, rainforest, and the plants and their health benefits. It was a pleasure to be led by him and it gave us a fabulous insight to St Kitts. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and Poinciana Tours. They were prompt at the meeting point, and took as to the beach after the tour, collecting us again after a couple of hours.
Tour was excellent, I highly recommend!
Wonderful tour! Would highly recommend!
Our rainforest hike was wonderful. David is a herbalist at heart and knows every plant and its heath benefits. We traveled through the botanical gardens, saw a batik demonstration, visited a rum distillery, walked through the quiet forest and ended with a smoothie at a little store by the distillery. For a small fee he took us to the beach and then brought us back to our ship. I highly recommend this tour if you are in St. Kitts. You do not need to be in tip top shape but will walk up hill and on a rocky path for a couple hours. Enjoy!
Wonderful experience. Project Expedition was very easy to work with. We had our hike with David Swantson, owner of Poinciana Tours. He was amazingly helpful and flexible. It was just my family of four, and he customized our hike to our fitness levels and interests. I spoke to him prior to the tour via whatsapp. We were trying to decide between this tour and the volcano hike. We chose this one as we were concerned one of our daughters is not in sufficiently good shape to hike the volcano. David assured us that we would have been fine on the volcano hike.
We loved this hike. The guy did a great job of showing us his home, pointing out lots of vegitation and telling us about all the medicinal healing properties of so many plants.
