Uduwara and Nagadowa Waterfall Trekking

Hidden deep inside the mountains near the Sri Lankas tallest waterfall Bambarakanda, are two lesser known but magnificent waterfalls which can be enjoyed from a single view point. These are Udawara Ella Fall and the Nagadowa Ella Fall. These falls can only be reached by foot after trekking approx 2 kms from the Kalupahana, Ohiya road. To reach to bottom of the fall is a further torturous 5 km trek. The Uduwara Ella Fall is about 60-80 meters in height. The area is surrounded by beautiful waterfalls, including the famous Bambarakanda Falls, Sri Lanka’s highest waterfall. Trekking through the lush forests and rocky terrain, visitors can witness breathtaking views and discover plenty of hidden waterfalls.

Hiking at Bambarakanda Falls. Uduwara Falls is a lesser-known waterfall in Badulla District, located hidden deep inside the high mountains near Sri Lanka's tallest waterfall Bambarakanda Falls. The fall can be reached after a long and difficult hike from the Kalupahana-Ohiya road. The fall is probably about 60-80 meters in height.
