The area is home to various species of dolphins, and you can embark on boat trips to see them in their natural habitat. You can spot several species of dolphins in the waters off Kalpitiya, including spinner dolphins, bottlenose dolphins, and spotted dolphins. Spinner dolphins are particularly famous for their acrobatic displays, including spinning jumps.
