The Experience

What your day looks like

Without a Luxury Sailing Boat, you will feel the warm sea breeze as you sail along the Barcelona coast. Sail from Barcelona to the Vineyards, Winery Tour & Wine tasting, and discover some of its most incredible spots from a unique perspective. Upon arrival by sea, be amazed by the characteristic landscape of DO Alella, one of the world's famous wine-making areas. Have fun and feel unique in your experience in a Premium Small Group Tour. Live an exclusive sailing experience on board a luxury sailboat and sail to one of the oldest wine regions in Spain, a family wine cellar where you will taste their Mediterranean organic wines. Welcome to this unique and luxurious sailboat that combines classic pedigree with contemporary comfort. You will travel along the coast and take in views of Barcelona landmarks and the beautiful and famous skyline. While our Luxury Sailing Boat leaves the port of Barcelona, you will see hundreds of the wonderful and splendid yachts that shine in sight of all. After the sailing, we’ll arrive at the Alella harbor, and a private transfer will take you to the wineries. Expert sommeliers will welcome you in this family-run winery, a beautiful 14th-century house, surrounded by vineyards and the Mediterranean sea. You will have the chance to stroll along its singular vineyards, cultivated for over 25 years, now cultivated using organic and modern techniques. It has not always been this way, since the wines of Alella have a long history and important significance in Catalan wine. Known and loved at Roman times, Pliny and Martial are cited as Laietan wines. Alella wines were, in the middle of the Middle Ages, the favorites in the Barcelona Seu, to later become one of the quality wines exported from Catalonia throughout the world, with particular attention to the overseas colonies where there was a large population of Catalans. After a relaxing morning and tasting their exclusive wines, it’s time to come back to the city in a private van. Don’t miss this once-in-a-lifetime experience. The departure order (Sailing or Minibus) may vary depending on the weather conditions and organization.

I curated in 5 tours all with PE for my family of 5 just back from Barcelona. It was 2 of the kids bdays. Kids are 19, 15 and 11. When they wanted Vineyard day I suggested sailing addition as dad loves boats. His feedback on this tour was really something “special”. World expeditions was amazing I received WhatsApp from them day before stating Montserrat Sat also w them had to be moved so solution we swapped the two days as itinerary was done 3 months ago and both full but with needed free days!! I LOVE PE staff and support wonderful partner!

The winery tour and wine tasting were excellent! It's a beautiful property, and the person leading the tour was very knowledgable and interesting. Everyone loved the experience! We must have had a day with particularly rough seas. Clients should be aware that the sailing portion is on a pretty small boat and that the waters can be rough. At least 4 people, out of 12 total passengers, suffered from seasickness on the boat.

We had the best time. The winery is a lovely experience and the boat is nice. We took the van to the winery and the boat back and it was a great way to round off the trip.

Loved the winery. Loved the guide on the boat. The only thing we didn't love was that we didn't really sail when we could have been.
