What travelers are saying
A good solid tour. Worth a days trip. Communication from the company on the pickup location were clear and easy to follow. Young was funny, engaging, and aware of our saftey. He gave us good context and history when asked, but could have provided more upfront without being asked. Specifically, on the Gloucester Bridge, knowledge of its naming would have enhanced the bueaty of the view. The Defector's story and Q&A was fascinating and heartbreaking, but the stage is a little kitschy. The tour was abit salesy, selling N Korean bills and ginseng etc. Which is OK, but could be toned down. Also, I am in good shape, and the walking on the tour is a moderate to difficult level. This should.have been emphasized a little more at sign up as some people were struggling.
Happy Sam was so kind, passionate, and entertaining on my tour. I learned a lot! I would definitely book a tour with him again. He treated my younger sister and I like family.
This was a highlight of my trip to Seoul. The company was very good at communicating with me prior to the tour itself. Our guide Dennis was energetic, knowledgeable, and friendly. He was very open to questions and did a great job of making everybody feel welcome. Communicating with the driver was not an important priority for me, but it was surprising that he did not seem friendly at all.
