The Experience
What your day looks like
Tandem paragliding is a heavenly adrenaline rush. No experience is necessary, your pilot will do all the hard work, you just need to run on take off then sit back and relax and enjoy the view, and don’t forget to smile for the camera. A para-glider is a free-flying, foot-launched aircraft. A tandem para-glider is specifically designed to carry two people. The passenger is strapped into a harness in front of the experienced pilot. The flight lasts 5-30 minutes, depending on conditions. Don’t confuse paragliding with skydiving, you will not be jumping out of a plane. Phew!

What to know before booking
Included
Tandem paragliding flight with your highly trained pilot. All tandem pilots are highly experienced TFIs (Tandem Flight Instructors) certified by SAHPA (the South African Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association). Safety precautions include helmets, harnesses with back protection, reserve parachutes, and careful pre-flight checks and pre-launch observation. You will be briefed before your flight, listen to your pilot when you are told to run you must RUN, do not sit down.

Food and drinks are not included.
What to Bring
What to Wear: Closed shoes On a chilly day wear something warm, it can be freezing in the air Sunblock Sunglasses can be worn in-flight Things to Bring: Friends and family are welcome to take photos during take-off and landing. Your pilot will have a camera that is tightly strapped to his harness during the flight, you can buy the in-flight photos and video for R300.00 per flight. It will be downloaded to your phone or you can ask for an SD card.
Restrictions
Guests or Spectators: Spectators are welcome to look while you take off and land but only paying guests in the flight. Weather: Our pilots will only fly in weather that is safe. If other pilots are flying but Jacques does not feel it is safe to fly, he will not let his pilots fly, we would rather schedule you for another day. Safety is key.
Meeting & Pickup
Our pilots meet passengers at the Signal Hill car park 30 min before the flight.
