Bo Kaap: Shortly after the commencement of the tour. We will have the pleasure of making a quick stop in the famous brightly colored Bo-kaap. This is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Cape Town and was known as the Malay Quarter for centuries after the many people of Cape Town who came from the Malay-speaking people of the Far East known as the Malay quarter. Besides the colorful houses, Bo-kaap offers a lot more than what meets the eye. You will be able to walk around as well as take pictures while your guide unpacks the history of this national heritage site. Table mountain: Standing at more than 1065m above sea level. This new addition to the 7 world wonders of nature is a must-visit when you are in Cape Town. A cable car with a rotating floor runs horizontally from the lower cable station near the car park to the upper cable station where visitors will have vast areas to roam while enjoying the 360 degrees of the entire Cape Town area from the summit of this famous mountain. Table Mountain also harnesses her own unique and rare flora which is called Table Mountain Sandstone fynbos. A part of the richest floral kingdom in the world. Camps Bay: Just outside the city bowl along the Atlantic seaboard of Cape Town lies an affluent suburb called Camps Bay as well as a popular granitic white sandy beach bearing the same name as the suburb. A republic it is! Chapman's Peak: Carved out of the Chapman's peak mountains between 1915 and 1925 to link Hout Bay town with Cape Town's south peninsula towns. Chappies as it is locally known is an engineer's pride. The 9km long mountainside road meanders along the dramatic and steep Chapman's Peak mountains that drop into the Atlantic like an avalanche. There are about 152 curves and like a fingerprint, you get a different view from every single one of them. Various viewpoints allow you to stop, soak in the beauty, and take photos. Noordhoek Farm Village: Situated at the southern end of the world-famous Chapman's Peak Drive and in the heart of the lush retirement village of Noordhoek. The farm village is home to the Village roast. A to-go coffee shop that boasts of the best-roasted coffee in the area. Other than coffee, there are some raw juices of different flavors as well as small shops selling locally made crafts and other BRIC-a-braces. Cape Point Ostrich Farm: Shortly before you venture into the Cape of Good Hope National Park. You will drive past an ostrich farm where if needs be, can make a quick stop to take photos of Africa's biggest and flightless bird. Cape Point: Cape Point Nature Reserve is a 7700-hectare park and a part of the Cape Floral Kingdom which is a world heritage site. The Cape Floral Kingdom is the smallest of the world's 6 floral kingdoms but it has more plant and endemic species than the other five combined. Within the national park is also the historic Cape Point lighthouse as well as the Cape of Good Hope. Visitors could also be fortunate to encounter wildlife. Cape of Good Hope: Maned with rough waters, rugged coastline, wildlife, and the converging of the Atlantic and the Indian Ocean currents. The Cape of Good Hope has a long history of carnage as well as life-changing achievements and is today a huge tourist attraction. Albeit being only the most southwestern point of Africa, the Cape of Good Hope was famed by early-time sailors as the corner of Africa. Once one of the world's most important navigational landmarks. Cape Point Lighthouse: A paved alley from Cape Point car park takes you over 600m to the 3rd oldest lighthouse in the country which makes for great views and photography. Launched in 1860. The Cape Point lighthouse was however decommissioned in 1919 as new evidence proved that its high elevation obscured its visibility in cloudy conditions. A new lighthouse at a lower elevation was constructed. A funicular is available at its own cost for guests who might not be in the mood to walk. Simon's Town: Named after a cape Dutch governor of the 17th century who found this town as a lee-shore in winter. Victorian-built Simon's town is home to some of the freshest seafood and fish restaurants in Cape Town. This is also the same town that African penguins and the South African Navy call home. Boulders Beach: Home to thousands of African penguins, Boulders Beach is one of Africa's only three mainland penguin colonies. The penguins are also known as jackass penguins because of their donkey-bray-like sound. A boardwalk was built to prevent people from getting too close to the penguins ever since they were listed as endangered a few years ago. However, visitors can still be able to take pictures from the point-blank range. From here, your journey will go to Stellenbosch town past Kalk Bay and Muizenberg. Kalk Bay: Kalk Bay was voted one of the 12 coolest places to live in! and is well known for her Eurocentric outlook. Some of the best restaurants in Cape Town are here. Art galleries, cafes, Cuban cigar bars, and small shops dominate the main street. Residents of this quaint town also get to enjoy seeing southern right whales from the comfort of their living rooms. Now that's cool!! Muizenberg Beach: Muizenberg Beach is a well-known surfing beach. The famous colorful changing huts on the beach also make for great photo taking. Here you will have your last photo stop before the journey carries on to Cape Town for the curtain call. Stellenbosch Town: Before venturing into the wine experience venue, an exploration of the historic town of Stellenbosch will be on the cards. Best explored on foot, the quaint and compressed town of Stellenbosch gives one a nostalgic sense of a bygone era. Endemic Cape Dutch-style buildings flow parallel to the leafy streets and over 150-year-old water furrows. Old and new shops trade in art, antiques, jewelry, and carved wood. Delaire Graff: From Stellenbosch town, the journey will go via the hilly and winding Helshoogte pass to the jewel of the Winelands, Delaire Graff wine estate.
