What your day looks like
Enjoy a combination of Slovenian’s best - known sites, the European Green capital Ljubljana and the Slovenian pearl Lake Bled. Both are a wonderful gateway to Slovenian heritage. Departing from the pier, you'll travel approx. 2 hours through the beautiful Slovenian countryside to Lake Bled. Lake Bled is a glacial lake in the Julian Alps in northwestern Slovenia. Its charm has made it a symbol for centuries of a town to which guests from all over the world. First, you will make a panoramic ride around the lake and then a short walk tour. If time permits you can visit also a medieval castle with a magnificent view of the lake or take a boat ride to the lovely island in the middle of the lake. After that, you may take some free time to enjoy yourself. The tour continues with drive to Ljubljana. It is the cultural, educational, economic, political, and the administrative center of Slovenia, independent since 1991. During the tour, you will see the old city. There are located the most interesting buildings and monuments like Town Hall, Three Bridges, Franciscan Cathedral, the fountain of Francesco Robba and more. For an extra charge, you can visit a mighty medieval fortress, a symbol of the Slovenian capital. After the walking tour, you will enjoy some free time to explore further or browse in the shops. Followed your free time you will drive back to Koper.

Igor took us up to Lake Bled to explore, and it was every bit as magical as we’d heard. We had time to stroll along part of the lake’s edge, take in the views of the iconic island church, and of course, try the famous Bled cream cake—a local specialty that definitely lived up to the hype! After soaking in the peaceful vibes of Lake Bled, we headed to Ljubljana. Igor gave us a fantastic tour of the city, pointing out the charming bridges, beautiful architecture, and sharing stories that brought the city to life. Igor was a great tour guide—knowledgeable, flexible, and super easy to talk to. He customized the tour to fit our pace, adding more or less time in certain spots based on what we were interested in. Highly recommend!
