Explore the world-famous Postojna Cave, located in the Karst region, only a 50-minute drive from Koper. Enter the mysterious, more than 20 km long Karst cave system, with its great underground galleries and halls. Magnificent cavernous halls with impressive sculptures as well as their colors will take your breath away. A part of the visit is made on an electric train and a part of it as a guided walking tour. The visit of the cave lasts approx. 1 1⁄2 hour. The temperature in the cave is around 10°C/50oF. Walking shoes and jackets are recommended. Continue for a beautiful photo stop and some free time at Predjama castle. Perched high up in the cliff, this castle dates to the 16th century, but evidence indicates that this steep and imposing cliff has been fortified since at least the 13th century. Following your 10min time at the castle, you’ll return to Koper, where your tour concludes.
