Day 1
Singapore
Sightseeing. Day 01 Singapore- Malacca 8 am Meet and greet at Singapore hotel and custom clearance @ Johore Bahru Immigration. You will be whisked away to Malacca a UNESCO Heritage City. Visit Stadthuys (Dutch Square), St Paul's Hill, A Famosa, Trishaw ride to Jonkers' Street, Walkabout at Jonkers' also known as Chinatown... a hive of activities... 15th Century Chinese and Indian migrant workers married to local women. After a local authentic lunch Peranakan, Check in to hotel. Free and easy.
Day 2
Malacca
Sightseeing at Stadthuys. Day 02 Malacca - Kuala Lumpur 8am Depart for Kuala Lumpur and visit the iconic Batu Caves, climb 272 steps into the Cave Hindu temple. Kuala Lumpur is a potpouri of diverse cultures - Malays, Chinese and Indians. Visit Sultan Abdul Samad Buildsing, Jamek Mosque, St Mary's Cathedral, Old Railway Station, Little India and Chinatown, National Mosque. Educational tour of Batik and photo shoots of Twin Towers and KL Tower, Complimentary lunch Banana Leaf - eat with fingers - a popular Indian cuisine. Check in to hotel. Free and easy. 5pm Depart for Kuala Selangor - home to the largest fireflies colony in the world. Meet the adorable silver leaf monkeys and adjourn to a riverside cafe for fresh seafood dinner. Catch a boat to watch fireflies at their dazzling best indulging in a mating ritual. Its fascinating !!! Really .
Day 3
Malacca
Local Flavor. Day 03 Kuala Lumpur - Cameron Highlands 8am Depart for Camerons.At Camerons visit tea plantations, Cactus Gardens, Strawberry Farm, Vegetable market, Butterfly Farm and Kea Farm. Check in to hotel. Free and easy. 7pm Dinner is HOT POT - a popular meal at Camerons - augurs well to the cool weather. Bring sweaters as nights are cold.
Day 4
Malacca
Sightseeing at St. Paul's Hill. Day 04 Cameron Highlands - Taman Negara 1st Day 7am Depart for the rainforest Taman Negara - 130 million years old tropical rainforest with endangered tigers, elephants, tapirs... 14,000 flowereing plants, 300 bird species... scattered aborigine colonies. On arrival at Kuala Tahan, complimentary local lunch at Floating Cafe. Nature Guide will take you on a boat ride to an aborigine village for a fire making and blowpipe demonstration. You can take part in the activities. The rainforest is their supermarket. Then jungle trek to a rainforest waterfalls for a cool dip - a therapeutic stress reliever. Check in hotel. Free and easy. 8pm Join Nature Guide for Night Jungle walk to spot civet cats, slow loris, mouse deer, wild boar etc and watch nocturnal animals come for their salt lick. Return to hotel.
Day 5
Singapore
Day 05 Taman Negara 2nd Day 8am Join Nature Guide jungle trekking to the viewpoint to catch a glimpse of Malaysia's highest mountain @ 7175 feet (2187 meters) in height. Natutre Guide will belt out facts and taboos of Taman Negara. There are medicinal and poisonous plants, not forgetting the elusive aphrodisiacs. Return to hotel. 8pm Join Nature Guide for the Night River Cruise. Bring torch light with extra batteries and look out for mouse deer, civet cats, monitor lizards, tigers, elephants come for their water intake. Enjoy the jungle ambience in a virgin rainforest seated on a boat deep in the rainfortest. A very rare encounter with nature. Isn't it?
Day 6
Singapore
Day 06 Taman Negara - Kuala Besut (Gatewway to the Perhentian/Redang/Lang Tengah Islands) 6am Early departure to Kuala Besut. Drive time approximate 5 hours. Your Guide will identify your boat and ensure all is well before bidding goodbye to you. Please obtain phone contact of boatman and your hotel in Perhentian. End of program. Have a swell time at the Islands. Take care.
