Your day, step by step
Singapore
Sightseeing. Day 01 Singapore - Malacca 8am Meet and greet at your Singapore hotel and transfer to Johore Bahru, Malaysia for immigration clearance.Our driver/guide will meet you at Johore Bahru and starts the drive up to Malacca. Visit Stadthuys (Dutch Square) St Paul's Hill, A Famosa, Trishaw ride to Jonkers' Street - also known as Chinatown. After a walkabout lunch would be Peranakan local cuisine. Check in. Free and easy.
Malacca
Sightseeing at Stadthuys. Day 02 Malacca - Kuala Lumpur On arrival at Kuala Lumpur, visit the iconic Batu Caves and climb 272 steps into temple of Hindu Deity honored during festivals. Visit Independent Square, Abdul Samad Building, Jamek Mosque, St Mary's Cathedral,. Photo shoots Twin Towers and KL Tower.. National Mosque, Old Railway Station, Little India and Chinatown. Complimentary lunch on a Banana Leaf - eat with fingers. 5pm Depart for Kuiala Selangor - home to the largest fireflies colony in the world. Meet the adorable silver leaf monkeys and after frollicking with them, adjourn to a riverside cafe for fresh seafood dinner . Then catch a boat to watch fireflies at their dazzling best indulging in a mating ritual. Its fascinating !!! Return to hotel by 10 pm.
Singapore
Sightseeing. Day 03 Kuala Lumpur - Taman Negara 1st day 8am Depart for Taman Negara - 130 million years old tropical rainforest with endangered tigers, tapir, elephants.... 14,000 flowering plants, 300 bird species....scattered aborigine villages. On arrival at Kuala Tahan, join Nature Guide on a boat to shoot the rapids to reach an aborigine village to watch fire making and blowpipe hunting techniques. You can partake of the activities. The rainforest is their supermarket. Continue trekking to a rainforest waterfalls for a cool dip - a therapeutic stress reliever. Complimentary local lunch at the Floating Cafe, Check in to hotel. Free and easy. 8pm Join Nature Guide for the Night Jungle walk to spot mouse deer, civet cats, slow loris etc and watch nocturnal animals come for their salt intake. Return to hotel.
Singapore
Sightseeing. Day 04 Taman Negara 2nd Day 8am Join Nature Guide jungle trekking to the viewpoint for a glimpse of Malaysia's highest mountain - Gunung Tahan @ 7175 feet (2187 meters) in height. Nature Guide will belt out facts about poisonous and medicinal plants, not forgetting the elusive aphrodisiacs. Return to hotel. Free and easy. 8pm Join Nature Guide for the Night River Cruise. You would have been lucky if you sighted monkeys, civet cats, panthers etc, but if you see a tiger we ain't quite sure who is gonna run first. Enjoy the jungle ambience seated on a boat deep in a rainforest. A very rare encounter !
Kuala Lumpur
Local Flavor at Batu Caves. Day 05 Taman Negara - Cameron Highlands 8am Depart for Camerons. Visit tea plantations, Cactus Gardens, Vegetable market, Butterfly Farm, Strawberry Farm and Kea Farm. Check in to hotel. Free and easy. 7pm Dinner is HOT POT - a local authentic meal that augurs well for the cool climate. Bring sweaters as nights are cold.
Kuala Lumpur
Sightseeing at Kuala Lumpur Railway Station. Day 06 Cameron Highlands - Penang Island 8am Depart for Penang Island , enroute bonus Visit Orangutan (subject to availability). At Penang visit clan jetties, Fort Cornwallis, Sleeping Buddha, drive past UNESCO Georgetown and little india. Lunch at a food court - local food varieties. Check in to hotel, Penang Island has the happening beachfront at Batu Feringghi which has water sports, night happenings, luxurious hotels along the beach, pubs and cafes and etc. End of program.
