Easy way to see the city and get to further destinations like royal yacht Britannia. Only issue was there is no mention when ticket is purchased that you have to pick up physical tickets for the bus/palace tours at one of the designated kiosks. We walked to Edinburgh castle and were told we needed physical tickets, so I had to backtrack to the closest kiosk and get them. Thankfully not far but would have been if we’d gone to holyrood or Britannia

Edinburgh Castle is an amazing site to behold. It is both beautiful inside and out and the surrounding grounds are stunning. The town of Edinburgh was our favorite on our trip to Scotland and England. We also traveled to see the Royal Britannia yacht used by Queen Elizabeth II. This was a wonderful site to see how the Royals lived while traveling abroad. It is still as it was before it was retired. Unfortunately, we did not get to Holyrood Palace, as the King was in town and we did not have a chance to visit before we left for England.

This was a great way to see Edinburgh in 48 hours. This tour made it so easy as the castle, yacht and palace tickets were all included with the bus ticket. We just needed to know the time we wanted to go into the castle when we first picked up our bus tickets, but everything else was in times so we could go whenever. The bus is very ver convenient with the continuous running and the app that times you the exact minute it will be at the different stops. I would highly recommend it!

We greatly enjoyed this tour. Having the flexibility to hop on and hop off on three different lines helped us to see the city very efficiently. On the day we visited the Edinburgh Castle, they had sold out tickets so we would not have been able to get in if we hadn't pre-purchased. Worth every penny!
