Scotch whiskey is ingrained within Scottish culture and on this tour, you will savor Scotland’s 'Water of Life'. This tour is for lovers of Scotch single malt whiskey and for those who would like to know more about our national drink. We visit two fascinating distilleries situated right on the edge of the Highlands. In between, these visits enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Loch Lomond National Park. The Scots used whiskey to heal common ailments and keep warm throughout the winter. The British taxed it to help fund their government. And now, Scottish whiskey exports makes one-quarter of the UK’s international food and drink trade. Places you'll explore: Glengoyne Distillery* - You couldn’t imagine a more idyllic distillery. It sits at the foot of a beautiful hill and houses wonderful copper stills. Loch Lomond National Park - Admire the views and take postcard-perfect photos to share with your friends and family. Deanston Distillery - This impressive distillery is the only one in Scotland that produces its own electricity.
