To ensure an intimate and personalized experience, we strictly limit our capacity to just two small groups, allowing you to bypass the massive crowds of standard ship tours. This 6 to 7-hour journey showcases Upolu’s most iconic landmarks, from the emerald depths of the To-Sua Trench to the world-renowned white sands of Lalomanu Beach. Whether you are swimming in crystal-clear cave pools or taking in the dramatic mountain vistas of Le Mafa Pass, you’ll experience the very best of island life at a relaxed, comfortable pace. We understand the importance of timing, which is why this itinerary is meticulously synchronized with your ship’s arrival and departure. Our team monitors every docking schedule; if your ship is early, we strive to depart as soon as the group is assembled to maximize your time at each stunning location. If your arrival is delayed, don’t worry—we will be waiting at the pier for you. The journey, in full
Piula Cave Pool Piula Cave Pool on Upolu Island, Samoa, is a beautiful, crystal-clear freshwater spring that originated from an old lava tube. Le Mafa Pass This scenic inland drive will take you high up into the mountains of Upolu, from the northern coast through to the southern coast. The pass offers many vantage points for spectacular views in all directions, be it over mountains, the ocean, or both. Archaeologists have discovered many ancient village sites throughout this valley. To-Sua Trench To-Sua literally means 'giant swimming hole', 30 metres deep and accessible via a long ladder, where a long platform sits for easy access in the pool. Inside is a cave that leads to the open sea and is recommended for skilled divers. It is surrounded by beautiful native gardens and a spectacular view ideal for weddings, photoshoots, and more. Overlooking the ocean is a small beach known as Fagaoneone, meaning white sand, while opposite, you can find a lava field with blowholes, mini pools, and good fishing spots. If you're visiting during mid-September to November, you may even be lucky enough to see a few whales coasting by. This is an absolute must-see place to visit while on holiday in Samoa. Lalomanu Beach Lined with beach fales and magnificent views of the smaller outer islands, Lalomanu Beach is located on the south coast of Upolu. It was voted by Lonely Planet as one of the top 10 beach destinations in the World. You can have a swim, a cold drink, or something to eat when we stop here at a great beach bar restaurant. Papapapaitai Falls Papapapaitai (Tiavi) Waterfall is a must-stop and see. One of the most photographed falls in Samoa, and also considered the longest at 100m high, cascades into a deep gorge. Its untouched surroundings bring life and a sense of mystery to all.
