The journey, in full

Piula Cave Pool Though the pool is close to the shoreline, the freshness and the coolness of the water that the cave provides are highly admired by the tourists and the local people who visited and took a dive in the Fatumea Cave Pool of Piula Theological College. So why not come down and experience the coolness and freshness of the pool? Afio mai! Come and see for yourself. Le Mafa Pass Lookout This scenic inland drive will take you high up into the mountains of Upolu, from the northern coast through to the southern coast. The pass offers many vantage points for spectacular views in all directions, be it over mountains, the ocean, or both. Archaeologists have discovered many ancient village sites throughout this valley. Sopoaga Waterfall Alongside the path to the viewing area are many different types of Samoan plants and trees, which are labelled by their Samoan and scientific names. Splendid gardens fill the surrounding area. There is also an area for umu demonstrations and coconut husking. To Sua Trench To-Sua literally means 'giant swimming hole', 30 metres deep and accessible via a long ladder, where a long platform sits for easy access in the pool. Inside is a cave that leads to the open sea and is recommended for skilled divers. It is surrounded by beautiful native gardens and a spectacular view ideal for weddings, photoshoots, and more. Overlooking the ocean is a small beach known as Fagaoneone, meaning white sand, while opposite, you can find a lava field with blowholes, mini pools, and good fishing spots. If you're visiting during mid-September to November, you may even be lucky enough to see a few whales coasting by. This is an absolute must-see place to visit while on holiday in Samoa. Lalomanu Beach Lined with beach fales and magnificent views of the smaller outer islands, Lalomanu Beach is located on the south coast of Upolu. It was voted by Lonely Planet as one of the top 10 beach destinations in the World. Togitogiga Waterfall This waterfall is located in the village of Saleilua and is situated a few miles away from the O Le Pupu Pue National Park. It's a popular swimming spot and place to linger for a picnic, plus there are changing rooms and restrooms. There is also a recreation area ideal for games such as rugby and volleyball for those with their own equipment. The fall is known to have been used as a swimming area for the great warriors of Samoa in the past. The best time for viewing and swimming is during the wet season, which is usually from November to April. Papapapaitai Waterfall Whilst driving towards the southern coast of Upolu via the Cross-Island Road. Papapapaitai (Tiavi) Waterfall is a must-stop and see. One of the most photographed falls in Samoa, and also considered the longest at 100m high, cascades into a deep gorge. Its untouched surroundings bring life and a sense of mystery to all. It is recommended for visitors to stay behind the rail for safety purposes. Bahai Temple Designated as a “place of spiritual gathering and of the manifestation of divine mysteries”, the Baha'’i' House of Worship and prayer gardens are open daily for prayer, meditation, and personal reflection to people of all religions, races, and nationalities. Its majestic architecture and tranquil atmosphere, set within fifteen acres of stunning gardens, offer an experience like none other. Visitors are warmly welcomed.
