The journey, in full

Morning Pick-Up: Start your journey at 6:30 am with pick-ups in Apia. By 6:40 am, everyone is on board, and you’ll head to Mulifanua Wharf for the large ferry, enjoying views of Manono and Apolima Islands along the way. Arrival in Savai’i: A waiting vehicle will take us on your Northern Savai’i adventure. John Williams Memorial: Stop at the landing site of this missionary’s arrival and the tomb of Samoa’s last king. A brief but meaningful 10-minute visit. Saleaula Lava Fields: Explore the hauntingly beautiful remains of this ancient lava flow, including the preserved church ruins and the grave of the high chief’s daughter. Spend 30 minutes taking in this historic site. Wetland Turtle: A short visit to observe the turtles. Lunch by the Beach: Enjoy a delicious meal at either Stevenson’s at Manase or Le Lagoto Resort, depending on availability. Lunch is not included, but meals typically cost around 50 Tala. After eating, relax on the beach or take a refreshing swim. Return Ferry and Drop-Off: Catch the 2 pm ferry back to Upolu and enjoy a relaxing drive back to your accommodation, arriving around 4:30 pm.
